Youth Group at Saint Katharine Drexel Catholic Parish in Weston is a welcoming community where children, teenagers, and young adults discover that the Catholic faith is not simply something to learn—it is a beautiful way of life centered on a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Rooted in the Gospel and strengthened by prayer, the Eucharist, and authentic Christian friendship, this ministry accompanies young people as they grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially in an environment filled with faith, joy, and belonging. Through age-appropriate gatherings for Elementary School (3rd–5th Grade), Middle School (6th–8th Grade), High School (9th–12th Grade), and Young Adults, participants experience dynamic catechesis, Scripture reflection, praise and worship, small-group discussions, games, service projects, retreats, camps, sports, and community events that help them discover God's unique purpose for their lives. The ministry also invites young people to deepen their relationship with Christ through the Sunday Youth Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, where music and worship are led by fellow youth, creating meaningful opportunities to encounter the Lord in prayer. Supported by dedicated leaders, parents, and volunteers, every gathering encourages young people to live their faith with confidence, compassion, and courage while forming friendships that inspire them to walk together toward holiness.
